The club has been flying at Langar airfield since 1967. However, this was not the first time the airfield was used by aero modellers: just after World War 2 a series of very successful rallies were held here.

Vale of Belvoir Machinery Group

 

East Midlands farm machinery enthusiasts work their vintage tractors from the Canal Farm Vintage Centre just outside  Harby. They attend steam & vintage rallies around the East Midlands. The group owns an old threshing machine. Long-strawed wheat is grown at Canal Farm & harvested using old machinery ready for threshing at  local rallies. The group takes great care in recreating the threshing scenes of years gone by.
